EVENT: The Smithy Pioneer Gallery of Cooperstown, will feature an exhibit of two artists, Normandy Alden and Amy McKinnon. An opening reception will be held at the gallery from 5 to 7 p.m. The gallery is located at 55 Pioneer Street in Cooperstown.
FRIDAY, JUNE 25
GRADUATION: Milford Central School, 7 p.m. will be held on the softball field, weather permitting, or in the gymnasium in the case of inclement weather.
SATURDAY, JUNE 26
MARKET: Cooperstown Farmers Market is open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. with 30 vendors. Located in Pioneer Alley off 101 Main St, Cooperstown. (607)547-6195.
GRADUATION: Cherry-Valley- Springfield, 11 a.m., glimmerglass opera House.
BOOK SALE: The Friends of the Village Library of Cooperstown annual book sale begins Saturday, June 26 and ending on Sunday, July 11 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Early bird entries will run from 8 to 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 26, for a $10 fee (free for FOVL members). Sale will open to all at 10 a.m. For information, call 547-8344.

GRADUATION: Cooperstown Central School, 1;30 p.m., fenimore Art Museum lawn. In case of rain, 2 p.m. at high school gymnasium.
SATURDAY, JULY 10
BANQUET: The 78th Cherry Valley Central/Cherry Valley-Springfield Central Alumni Banquet will be held in the Community Center of the old Cherry Valley School.
Registration and social hour will begin at 5:30 p.m. followed by dinner provided by Brooks’ Barbecue. The cost is $15 a person. A brief business meeting will follow dinner, and a DJ will provide music for listening and dancing. Reservations are requested and can be made by contracting Ms. Marge Dubben at 547-5301.
