SERVICE: The First Baptist Church of Cooperstown’s Christmas Eve Candlelight Service will be held at 7 p.m. Call the Rev. Douglas Deer at 547-9371 for more information.
SERVICE: Two services will be held at the United Methodist Church of Cooperstown.
At 7 p.m., worship will include traditional Christmas carols, children’s Christmas pageant, and candlelighting. The 11 p.m. service will include communion, carols, and candlelighting. The church, located at 66 Chestnut Street corner of Glen Avenue, is handicapped accessible.

MEETING: An informational meeting about the hydrofracking process used in the extraction of natural gas is being planned by the Upper Unadilla Valley Association in association with Otsego 2000 at the Mount Markham High School auditorium beginning at 7 pm. There will be presentations from Lou Allstadt, Michelle Kennedy, and Ron Bishop.
