Approved by Planning Board: - The Planning Board made a resolution/ recommendation to the Trustees regarding a Coordinated Development District on Grove Street proposed by Joe Galati on parcels currently owned by the Leatherstocking Railway. - A zoning permit was issued for exterior renovations and shed removal at 85 Pioneer St. - Grace Kull presented a plot plan for parking to facilitate a proposed Tourist Accommodation facility at her home, 19 Church St. The matter is under consideration. - Ned Walker and Susan Snell presented preliminary proposed improvements for housing between Chestnut Street and Pine Boulevard on a plottage of parcels that includes the former Smith Ford Building. - A zoning permit was issued for sidewall work and window replacement at 88 Lake St. - A zoning permit was issued for demolition of a non-contributing shed and construction of a stable at 34 Delaware. - A zoning permit was issued for sidewall replacement on three sides of the structure situated at 61 Susquehanna. - A sign permit was issued to the Cooperstown Art Association at 22 Main St. to add a small "open" and "closed" sign to the existing freestanding sign on the front lawn. The Feb. 26 Planning Board meeting was cancelled due to the weather. All items were rescheduled for March 11.

Stolen Credit Card at Oneonta Wal-Mart on Jan. 8, 2008 (photos)
Several surveillance photographs taken at the Oneonta Wal-Mart on January 8, 2008 around 11:30 p.m. The male and female in the photographs used a credit card that was stolen out of a vehicle that had been broken into while parked at the Schenevus Central School earlier in the evening. The stolen credit card was also used at two gas stations on SR-23 on Southside Oneonta and in Davenport on January 9th.
