Ethan Drugatz had a goal and an assist to lead Cherry Valley-Springfield to victory in the final of the Edmeston Tournament on Friday. The game also counted in the Tri-Valley League standings.
Drugatz scored 16 minutes into play to give the defending Section Four Class D champion Patriots a 1-0 lead.
Wyatt Cowley scored 10 minutes later. Kyle Jaquay and Jake Spencer also scored in the first half for CV-S, which went 17-1-2 last season.

Little Falls 4, Cooperstown 2
Sept. 4
Alannah Haggerty had a goal and an assist, but Cooperstown opened its season with a non-league road loss.
Sarah Jane Morosko gave the Redskins a 2-1 lead 16 minutes into play, finishing a cross from Haggerty.
But Nicole Foti, who scored three goals, scored twice in the first 10 minutes of the second half to give Little Falls a 3-2 lead.
“We played really well (in the first half),” Cooperstown coach Jennifer Pindar said. “In the second half, they started to dominate the play more.”
Cooperstown plays host to Morrisville-Eaton on Sept. 11.

Alyssa Baker and Zane Ashford scored unassisted goals to lead host Cherry Valley – Springfield to a Tri-Valley League win at home.
Kylie Graham made seven saves for the Patriots, who travel to Morris on Friday.
