The Village of Cooperstown
Historic Preservation and Architectural
Review Board will
hold an awards ceremony and
reception next week to honor
the 2007-2009 recipients of
the Village Historic Preservation
awards.
A total of 15 awards will be
presented in four categories.
The Historic Preservation
awards are intended to
recognize and commend
individuals and organizations
who, through the stewardship
of their properties, have significantly
contributed to the
protection, enhancement, and
perpetuation of the Historic
and Architectural District,
which encompasses the entire
Village, explained Teresa
Drerup, chair of the Historic
Preservation and Architectural
Review Board.
The four award categories
and the recipients include:
