— Fourth of July festivities are planned to take place at Lakefront Park in Cooperstown on Friday.
The Cooperstown Community Band will perform at 8 p.m., followed by fireworks at dusk. The Cooperstown Rotary will provide concessions.
If it rains, festivities will take place on Saturday instead.
The day of the activities was wrong in the July 1 print edition.
